Description:

RAPPORT is a Capacity Building project, employing a Holistic Approach to enhance the Quality of VET. It achieves this by implementing quality assurance mechanisms, modernizing VET practices, fostering industry partnerships, acknowledging and validating skills, offering career guidance and counselling, and promoting inclusivity and accessibility in VET. RAPPORT underscores the interconnectedness of these aspects and their collective contribution to making VET more attractive.

Objectives

  • To improve the quality and responsiveness of the VET in Albania and Bosnia Herzegovina but also the partner countries in the consortium through a series of capacity building activities and a series of practical implementation activities.
  • To align VET provision to local, regional and national development strategies.

TPM, BARI
From October 8-10, ACT Center participated in the important meeting of the “RAPPORT” project in Bari, Italy, organized by our partners, ASNOR – National Association of Career Counselors!
The meeting was a platform for exchange and development, featuring two key workshops:
-“Career Counseling in Vocational Education and Training (VET)” – facilitated by ASNOR experts.
-“Assessment of Non-Formal Learning and the Use of Micro-credentials” – led by MMC.

Albanian partners from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana also presented the essential findings of the focus group, bringing valuable perspectives. This meeting marks another step toward our project objectives of improving career counseling and skills recognition.

RAPPORT is a capacity building project based on multilateral partnership between organizations
in Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Albania and Bosnia Herzegovina that are active in VET (Vet providers &
chambers). RAPPORT aims to provide a holistic way on how the quality and responsiveness of
VET can be improved and it tackles all the above-mentioned issues.
ACT center's participated in the kick-off meeting of the RAPPORT project in Nicosia, Cyprus
(March 26-28, 2025)

The kick-off included insightful discussions on all work packages and two valuable workshops
led by our European partners:

-Workshop 1: Best practices in Quality Assurance Mechanisms in VET
-Workshop 2: Best practices in curriculum design, integration of the work-based learning
component
RAPPORT is co-financed by the European Union, and we look forward to collaborating on this
important capacity-building initiative.

On November 12, 2025, from 09:00 – 14:00, a workshop was held on the topic: Integration of interpersonal skills in VET (Vocational Education and Training) curricula. The following participated in this workshop: 2 Staff members from ACT Center and 4 Vocational Training Professionals. The goal of this workshop is the improvement of VET curricula by enriching them with essential skills, in order to prepare more sought-after and well-rounded professionals for the labor market.

On November 18, 2025, from 09:00 – 14:00, the workshop with the theme: Best practices for inclusion in vocational education was held. The following participated in this workshop: 2 Staff members from the ACT Center and 4 Vocational Training Professionals. The goal of this workshop is the adoption of best practices to ensure equal access, participation, and success for all students in vocational education and training.

The staff of the ACT Center participated in the workshop, which was held online on December 4th and 5th, 2025, within the framework of the Report project. This workshop aimed to prepare the development teams to develop the curricula and training materials for three different training programs.

The ACT Center actively participated in the third project meeting, contributing to key discussions and supporting the ongoing development of project activities. The meeting brought together project partners in a collaborative environment, fostering dialogue, coordination, and shared planning.

Over the course of two productive days, partners engaged in in-depth discussions addressing pending matters related to Work Packages 2 and 3. These sessions provided an opportunity to review progress, identify challenges, and align on the next steps necessary to ensure timely and effective implementation.

The second day of the meeting focused on Work Package 4, where partners exchanged ideas, reviewed current progress, and outlined concrete actions for the upcoming phase of the project. This session was instrumental in clarifying responsibilities and strengthening the strategic direction of future activities.
